About Us
Romiro stands for innovative mobility. Our e-rollator, which can be converted into an electric scooter, offers people with mobility restrictions freedom and independence. Inspired by my grandmother Inge's love and desire for more mobility, I, Frank Döberl, developed the Romiro. Her vision drives us to create mobility solutions that offer safety and comfort.
In 2024, we were voted among the top 10 of 2500 startups in the Lexware 100k Challenge and were the absolute audience favorite among our target group. We also took third place in the Startup BW Prize at the Heilbronn Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

We are Romiro Robotic, a company that develops innovative solutions in the field of assisted robotics. Our main product, the Romiro, was originally designed as a combination of "ROllator WITH electric wheelchair". Today, the name stands for a unique mobility concept that helps people experience freedom, mobility and safety in their everyday lives.

The Romiro – More than a Helper
The Romiro combines the best features of a classic rollator, a shopping trolley and an e-scooter for seniors – all in one compact and innovative product.
What we are not
We are not a classic aid, nor a medical product. The Romiro deliberately does not have an aid number - and for good reason. No one with a disability or illness is prohibited from buying or using the Romiro. However, we would like to stress that there are specially developed medical products on the market that are tailored to such needs. The Romiro is not a medical product or aid.
Romiro is a sports and leisure device. Mobility and freedom are not a luxury, but a basic right. However, we strongly advise against using the Romiro for medical or therapeutic purposes. It is a sports and leisure device that was developed for active mobility.
We believe in:

Many people limit their mobility because they overestimate their strength – even with a walker or shopping cart. This often leads to:

- Depression due to lack of exercise and social withdrawal.
